Size:8-1/2”H.Buff pottery vessel having lentoid shaped body surmounted by a huge funneled rim. Bears two opposing loop handles risinf from the mid body and two tabbed tongues between. Painted with red and brown linear, chain and chevron designs.

Ca. 350 BC, South Italy. A lovely ornate and delicate funerary vessel of large rounded body with broad funnel rim and four vertical ring handles. The decoration in added red and brown umber pigments in panels and scrolliate motifs. Height: 13 inches.

Ancient Apulian Red-Figure Pelike Magna Graecia Ca. 350 B.C. Size: 7 3/8 inches high (18.7 cm).

Graceful vessel on pedestal foot with bulbous body, round rim with twin strap handles. Red-figure painted lady of fashion profile face wearing a saccos on each side. Some white detailing, black glaze, with palmette. minor chips and scratches otherwise perfect.

Provenance: Ex Private New Jersey Collection, Ex the Time Machine Company.
